Your name, age, sex, mobile number and email. Your qualification, council registration number and the state it was issued in. The documents you upload for verification — photo, Aadhaar, PAN, registration certificate and, optionally, your degree. Your address and the city you want to work in.
For a hospital: the facility name, address, bed capacity, authorised person and their contact details, plus the same verification documents in the facility's name.
If you are paid for shifts, the UPI ID you add so hospitals can pay you, and a record of each payment — the amount, the method, and the reference the payer typed in.
When you post a shift you may ask your device to drop a pin on the address. That reads your location at that moment, and only then. We store the coordinates against the shift so staff can find the place. Nothing tracks you in the background, and the app never asks for your location anywhere else.
To verify that you are who you say you are and are qualified for the work you apply for; to show you shifts that match your qualification and city; to let a hospital reach you once it has accepted you; and to credit your pay.
We do not profile you for advertising, and there is no advertising or analytics software in this app. Nothing you do here is tracked across other companies' apps or websites.
Before a hospital accepts you it sees your name, ProLocum ID, qualification, years of experience and rating — not your mobile number, your address or your documents.
Once it accepts you, it also sees the mobile number you registered, so it can call you about the shift. Your uploaded documents are visible only to the ProLocum verification team, never to another user.
Your UPI ID is shown only to someone who owes you money for a shift you have completed, at the moment they pay.
Shift fees are paid directly between the two people, bank to bank. ProLocum never holds that money, never takes a commission from it and never sees your bank credentials — we record only what each side tells us, and the person receiving the money confirms it.
Plan payments are handled by our payment gateway. Card and bank details go to them, not to us; we keep only the reference and the result.
Codes are always six digits, sent by SMS or email, and expire in 10 minutes. We never send a sign-in link, and nobody from ProLocum will ever ask you for a code.
Your profile and documents are kept while your account is open. Records of completed shifts and payments are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is closed — the other person in that transaction keeps their side of it too, and it no longer carries your name.
You can close your account yourself, from the app: Profile → Delete account.
That erases your name, mobile number, email, address, UPI ID, profile photo and every document you uploaded. It cannot be undone, and your number becomes free to register again. Anything you had applied for is withdrawn and any shift you posted is cancelled.
It will not let you go while a shift you accepted has not been worked, or while a completed shift is unpaid in either direction — settling those first is the only way the other person is not left stranded. Records of completed shifts and their payments remain, without your name attached, for the reasons in clause 6.
You can also ask us at support@prolocum.in to do it for you, or to show you what we hold.
We use other companies to host the service and store uploaded files, to send SMS and email, and to take plan payments. They receive only what they need to do that job, are contractually required to protect it to the same standard we do, and may not use it for anything else. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
You can correct your own details from Edit profile. Details that were verified against a document — your qualification and registration number — are locked once approved; contact support to have them changed. Your UPI ID stays editable, because people change banks.
Location is asked for by your phone, not by us, and you can refuse or withdraw it in your device settings at any time. Refusing it only means you type the address instead.
ProLocum is for working medical professionals and the hospitals that hire them. You must be at least 18 to hold an account. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone younger, and will delete it if we find we have.
